We offer an initial consultation FREE of charge and with no obligation to get to know you, your likes and dislikes and to discuss how we can help to fulfil your requirements. We can work to any budget or style providing services from a verbal consultation to a fully managed full refurbishment. Includes travel costs within a 30 mile radius of Gravesend, Kent. For other areas please call for an estimate.

Verbal Advice Only 

 

Should you simply require a bit of advice to give you the inspiration you need to complete your project yourself, we offer a verbal advice only service. The designer will assess each room as required and provide professional and thorough advice and recommendations verbally.

 

This service is charged at an hourly rate of £40.

Design Stage 

 

Following your initial consultation your designer will carry out extensive research based on the information provided in order to provide you with their recommended scheme. Included within the design stage package you will receive a mood board, which provides insight into how the scheme will look. You will receive a sample board showing samples of recommended fabrics, wall and floor finishes and a 2D furniture layout plan. 

 

The scheme provided will then be yours to keep. You can then choose to complete the works yourself based on the advice provided or should you not have the time or feel you dont have the skills required you can continue to use our services. 

 

Our design fee varies according to the scope of work and the size of the rooms to be designed. As a guide a bedroom design would start from £300. An estimate will be provided at the initial consultation and a full quotation provided following the meeting. 

 

Elevations, lighting plans and 3D rendered drawings can be provided at an additional cost of £150 per drawing. Walkthrough video presentations are also available. Price will vary according to your requirements. 

 

For any design work 50% is payable on engagement with the remainder payable on delivery of sample boards.

Implementation Stage 

 

In order to implement the chosen design we then create a full written specification for each room. This will provide detailed information in order to obtain accurate quotations from contractors. 

 

The fee for our specification is £40 - £120 per room 

 

At this point you can choose whether you wish to appoint and manage your own contractors. We are able to assist and provide local reputable tradesmen that we have experience of using and can manage them for complete peace of mind. Project management includes any necessary site visits, liaising with contractors or trades people and time for consultations. Travel expenses and disbursements charged as extra.

 

Our tradesmen and project management service can be provided at our hourly rate of £40. You will be responsible for paying the tradesmen direct based on their terms of payment.

Materials Supply Stage

 

All of the recommended materials, fabrics, wallpapers, furniture, floor coverings, lighting and accessories are then supplied at competitve prices. 

 

A detailed quotation is supplied for your approval prior to purchasing. Items are supplied at competitive prices as any trade discounts will be passed on to you as the client. A 12% handling and supply fee is applicable however as trade prices  are passed on which are sometimes heavily discounted, some of this cost may be recovered. Delivery charges are charged to you at cost. 

 

Full payment in advance is required for materials such as fabrics, trimmings, wall coverings and paint. A deposit of 50% is required for any larger items and making costs such as furniture, light fittings, curtains, upholstery and flooring. The balance is required on delivery or fitting
